Paddle Fitness

We run paddle fitness classes throughout the year. In the gym for beginners and less experienced paddlers working on general fitness and how this can improve our paddling and overall performance.

If you are a looking to improve your fitness then SUP is a great full body workout. We will look at ways to improve technique and increase muscular and cardiovascular endurance aswell as overall fitness and strength.

We will be focusing on overall fitness moving into paddle technique – SUP & Kayak. You do not need to have previous experience as these sessions will be off water in our riverside gym. All ages, abilities and fitness levels welcome!

On the water is for more confident paddlers, focusing on working against the tide around the local islands – our very own treadmill on water. We warm up very quickly once on water and if the weather really is not suitable we spend a bit more time in the gym or switch to an indoor paddle fitness session.

Check out our paddle fitness sessions or book in a 1:1 session on the water or in the gym to start. We have a number of qualified watersports insrtructors and personal trainers who can help you develop your fitness and your paddling.

To Rent

Riverside Gym space now open for Fitness sessions, Yoga & Pilates and available to rent for personal training and classes. 7.5 x 5m with new rubber gym floor. Heated and well ventilated with full shower and changing facilities. Open the doors to unique stunning views of a historic part of the Thames and a large outside piazza. Kitchen for coffees and teas and great local cafes. 150 metres from Kew Bridge mainline station with direct line to London Waterloo. Underground stations are a short walk away and there is secure bike parking on site. Pay and display car parking free 12-6pm.

About me
Sport and fitness has been a huge part of my life from an early age! I wanted to try anything and everything as long as it was outdoors (mostly) and active. The ability to perform at a high level is what has driven me to train and dedicate myself and this developed into a passion for fitness and exercise. I studied sports and exercise science and then completed an apprenticeship with Brentford FCCST, this led me to qualify as a coach across a number of different sports before becoming a Personal Trainer.

What can I do for you?
Whether you are looking to increase strength and endurance, lose weight or just increase your general fitness I can work with you to achieve your goals. I focus on developing a plan and working with my clients towards a level where they can start to achieve their fitness goals and have the confidence and knowledge to apply this to their own training and lifestyle. If you have an interest in watersports we can apply this to a programme with a blend of in gym and on the water training (Stand Up Paddleboarding and/or Kayaking) making use of the riverside facilities.
