Enjoyable experience on the water

Active 360

Have fun and make a difference with paddle and pick - Team Building Ideas in London

Welcome to our Environmental programme!

We run river plastic clean ups called Paddle and Pick for teams at all of our sites and you can find out more through www.paddleandpick.com or enquire via info@active360.co.uk

Active360 holds environmental ethos closely at heart. We have for years been observing increasing plastic pollution of rivers. Seeing it every day on our doorstep on the banks of the River Thames.

We are concerned about the growing amount of plastic waste in our waterways and the threat it poses to wildlife and to humans through entering the food chain.

Our aim is to increase environmental awareness through sharing our passion for nature and watersports.

When we can we  also arrange Paddle and Pick plastic clean ups for individuals to join so you can get out on water and see  what’s happening first hand.  These mostly happen as part of events like Tidefest (Sept). If you book on one of these you will have an opportunity to spend a few hours clearing up plastic in the company of like-minded people who love nature and are concerned about environmental issues.

Paddle & Pick sessions are popular with many business organisations with environmental concerns.

They are fun sessions with a basic SUP lesson included and all equipment provided.

Are you looking for team building ideas London based?

With our plastic clean-up paddleboard events, we’re on a mission to turn the tide against plastic pollution while fostering team building and community engagement. Our unique approach allows teams to experience the beauty of our waterways first-hand while actively contributing to their preservation.

This experience goes beyond a mere paddleboarding lesson; it offers the chance to delve into the river’s natural history, discovering the enchanting wildlife and gaining insight into contemporary challenges such as plastic pollution and other environmental issues. Regular sightings of seals, along with Herons, Cormorants, Grebes, and Kingfishers, add an extra dimension to the adventure.

We’re super passionate about our forward-thinking team building ideas in Brentford and our other centrally located sites. If you’re considering your corporate responsibility, our Paddle and Pick sessions provide excellent opportunities to align with this commitment while also encouraging your staff to participate in a fantastic team-building event.

Whether you’re a seasoned paddleboarder or a complete novice, our experienced guides will provide all the necessary training and equipment to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Paddle & Pick for public

Paddle and Pick sessions

Every Paddle & Pick session is different. Durations can vary depending on the time of year and weather conditions. Focus is always the same – pick up as much litter as you can (mainly discarded plastic), experience wasteful consumerism first hand and learn about pollution and threats to marine environments. These are paid sessions as we don’t often get subsidies for our environmental work and we pay coaches, provide equipment and clean after. If sponsored sessions are available they will be advertised and open for bookings.
