SUP Yoga & Pilates is a unique fusion of SUP and classical Pilates and Yoga. An excellent way to gently stretch and look after your body and mind by exercising in nature. It can be very meditative and calming with an extra health benefits of being out in the fresh air and surrounded by calming scenery. Try this instead of an air-conditioned exercise studio!
The exercise mats are replaced by large anchored paddle boards floating on calm water. Our instructor will guide you through a Yoga-Pilates routine with an added SUP element and a short journey on water. This will allow you to learn some basic SUP skills with all the benefits of a Yoga-Pilates workout.
Performing exercises on water challenges your balance and adds intensity to every movement, creating a dynamic yet fun workout on water.
We offer SUP Yoga and Pilates during the warmer months at our Brentford Lock base on the Grand Union canal with Sophy, our main and very experienced instructor or Izzie who is also very experienced and qualified on water, currently completing her Yoga qualifications aswell.
These can be scheduled sessions where individuals can book and join in or you can get a group of friends together and we can set one up for you. Get in touch if you have an enthusiastic group and can’t find a date in our diary! We will do our best to accommodate you.

Sup Yoga & Pilates
SUP Yoga & Pilates (and paddle)
This 60 minute session will include a short SUP lesson and a Yoga & Pilates session followed by a short paddleboarding trip to warm down and treat your mind and body to a bit of mindfulness in nature.
Yoga on water will give you a whole new experience. By being exposed to the elements and having to adjust to the movement of the board on water, you will maximize your core stability throughout the entire class.
