Welcome to Active360 rentals!
We hire Stand Up Paddleboards (SUPs), Canoes and Sit on top Kayaks.
Canoes and Sit on top Kayaks are available to hire with no previous experience necessary.
SUP hires are only suitable for people with previous SUP experience who are confident in their ability to stand, safely manoeuvre the board and when necessary self rescue independently.
If you’re looking for an independent mini adventure you can explore the routes we love starting from one of our bases on the Grand Union Canal – in Paddington by Little Venice or in Brentford Lock. You can do that on a SUP or in a canoe. Alternatively you can arrange a pick up of the equipment from one of our bases and take it away to create your own adventure.
We have a range of tried and tested paddleboards, Canoes and Sit on top Kayaks available for rental.
If you don’t have experience or would like to brush up on your paddling skills to become a competent and independent paddler you can check out our SUP sessions for a range of options including SUP group lessons, 1-to-1 lessons or Private group sessions.
If you plan to head out onto the Thames independently, we strongly recommend that you refer to the PLA’s Code of Practice for Paddling on The Tideway.
On the Tidal section of the River Thames, we operate on we only hire SUP boards to TSK trained paddlers who we know as experienced Tideway SUP paddlers. Read more about our Thames Skills and Knowledge (TSK) courses.

No experience necessary! Stable and easy to master, Canoes have been used for 100’s of years for transportation and trade.

Sit on top Kayak (1 or 2 seater)
These are stable kayaks with an open cockpit, great for all abilities! Sit back and enjoy the view! You get a little bit wetter than in a Canoe mainly because you are closer to the water!
